MatrixOne has announced upgrades and enhanced support for leading J2EE application servers, facilitating greater interoperability across enterprises and among applications, the company says.

Immediately available in Version 9.6 of the eMatrix Collaboration Platform and the MatrixOne Value Chain Portfolio is support for new versions of the BEA WebLogic Server, IBM WebSphere Application Server and the Sun ONE Application Server.

MatrixOne says that because its collaborative product lifecycle manage (PLM) solutions are fully J2EE-based and support the leading application server platforms, customers are able to integrate the MatrixOne collaborative PLM solutions with their existing enterprise and desktop applications environment without changing or adding application servers.
