Photomatrix Rolls Out New Scanners

Photomatrix (San Diego) has unveiled the Vision Series 9000 and 9600 ergonomic scanners. The scanners, evolved from the Vision Series 5000 product line, offer speeds ranging from 100 to 200 duplex pages per minute with a resolution of 400 dpi. Features include a new 32-bit Vision Image Capture Software, a high-performance image processing board and a Pentium-based computer and monitor. A SmartStacker allows documents to be returned in order for easy accessibility. The scanners are the "first true 32-bit high-speed image capture system in the marketplace," and were designed as a result of the success of the 5000 and 6000 lines, according to Dell Glover, VP of Sales and Marketing.
