Pegasystems' Products Now Available On Informix Platform

Pegasystems' (Cambridge, MA) customer relationship management system is now available on Informix

's (Menlo Park, CA) database platform. With this agreement, Pegasystems joins the Informix Solution Alliance Program, where it will market and sell automation solutions to the financial, insurance, and telecommunications markets. Already taking advantage of the relationship is Sears and Roebuck, which has purchased Pegasystems' CRM system for its credit operations centers. The system, scheduled to be completed by Q3 '99, will support 2,500 concurrent users in nine operations centers. "Sears is excited about the partnership between Pegasystems and Informix," said Sears Credit Database Manager Cathy Petersen. "This combination provides us the most scalable solution available today." "The joint effort at Sears Credit opens the door to pursuing new opportunities in the increasingly critical customer relationship management market," added John McCauley, Informix's Executive Director of Worldwide Industry Marketing.
