Oracle to be in Novell's NetWare

Users of Novell's (Provo, UT) NetWare will now get to use Oracle's (Redwood Shores, CA) Oracle8 database. Per a new bundling agreement, a five user version of the Oracle8 data server will be included in all versions of NetWare 4.11 and above. Sample applications built by developers and independent software vendors will be included in the bundle, so customers can see examples of the applications being built with the platform, while developers get their products in front of potential new customers. William Mills, president and COO of SBT Accounting Systems (San Rafael, CA), a database accounting software developer, is specifically pleased with "the options this cooperative agreement would bring to users of our accounting software." The combination of Oracle8 and NetWare will provide networking solutions that help SBT's customers "manage and control the vast flow of information they encounter every day."
