Oracle and Wallop Unveil Web Application Solution

Oracle (Redwood Shores, CA) and Wallop Software

(Foster City, CA) have agreed to bundle Wallop's Build-It collaborative workbench for Web sites with Oracle's Application Server Version 4.0, which is now in beta. The combination creates a solution for creating, building and deploying web components and applications. "Web-based applications represent the next generation of development ­ using collections of business objects to solve real problems," said Oracle VP Rod Butters. The combined product is planned for shipment in Q1 '98.
