Optika reports Q2 '98 financial results
Still feeling the burn from its transition from FilePower to eMedia, Optika (Nasdaq: OPTK) reports Q2 '98 revenue of $3.5 million, down 33% from Q2 '97. A net loss of $2.1 million compares with a Q2 '97 net income of $71,000. During the quarter Optika released a controlled shipment of its eMedia business-to-business Web commerce product to nine beta sites, including Michelin North America which signed up in June. Optika also unveiled a new Advantage Partner Program channel strategy for its eMedia product.
