OpenText has introduced the latest release of OpenText Trading Grid Analytics, its cloud-based supply chain integration platform, featuring new predictive capabilities for supply chain optimization, and supply chain data integration enhancements with the acquisition of Liaison Technologies.
New capabilities in Trading Grid Analytics provide business leaders with insights to identify underperforming trading partners and sources of risk in the supply chain which could lead to production and fulfillment delays. With control tower-like capabilities and new predictive metrics, supply chain managers may have real-time access to information required to take action on unforeseen disruptions before these disruptions cause broader business impact. Trading Grid Analytics provides insights into both buy and sell side processes in a single platform. The solution also enables data to be shared across a trading partner community for improved collaboration.
OpenText Trading Grid provides enterprises with a flexible, configurable digital backbone which enables them to optimize supply chain processes across the entire trading community, not just with larger partners. Trading Grid digital onboarding innovations make it easier for trading partners to connect via self-service trading partner set-up, automated partner provisioning and simple file sharing.
In addition, a new application, Core for Trading Grid, expands trading partner digitization to smaller suppliers previously challenged to implement advanced integration solutions. According to OpenTExt, suppliers accomplish this in Trading Grid via a drag-and-drop interface for file exchange. Trading Grid picks up, translates and delivers the files directly into back-end systems as if trading with a larger supplier via EDI.
The acquisition and integration of Liaison Technologies into OpenText accelerates any-to-any data integration across the supply chain and between back-end systems with intelligent mapping and data transformation.
Trading Grid also offers a suite of SaaS solutions, Active Applications, to streamline and accelerate order management, electronic invoicing, community management and retail deductions management, among other processes.
Innovations in Trading Grid Active Applications provide access to broader global e-invoicing compliance, mobile order management, and improved exception management to focus on mission critical issues. OpenText Lens provides shared visibility into multi-enterprise data flows for improved collaboration and issue resolution.
