OpenText adds e-learning with Operitel acquisition

OpenText has acquired learning management system (LMS) provider Operitel, whose solutions also feature social and mobile learning management and capabilities that integrate with Microsoft SharePoint.

OpenText says LearnFlex, Operitel’s flagship product, further enhances and broadens functionality available to the OpenText ECM Suite and will add value to its ECM software with learning services to employees and customers. Operitel’s solutions allow delivery, tracking and validation of internal learning across organizations. OpenText adds such learning services are especially critical for ensuring timely compliance with organizational and industry-specific regulatory requirements.
