Open Text releases new version of Livelink

Open Text (Waterloo, Ontario) has released Version 8 of its Livelink Intranet collaborate computing product. New features include a new modular architecture, modules for reporting, workflow (implemented in Java), Java-based electronic forms and application development, and an Enterprise Spider that collects and delivers to project teams specified information from a company's intranet. Also new are an enhanced user interface, improved file conversion filters, and new search and channel functionalities.
