Open Text and Ixos announce integration plans

Open Text and IXOS have announced strategies for their first combined ECM solutions, beginning in six months, that feature new e-mail management, content archiving and Web content management capabilities.

Plans include:

• an integrated solution for managing, tracking and storing e-mail to improve compliance with corporate governance and other legal requirements;

• a series of WCM products that can be applied to any Web publishing or development need; and

• new content archiving for Open Text’s Livelink suite to give customers greater flexibility in their choice of storage solutions.
