Onyx mines its business expertise

After two years of research and development, Onyx Software christens the third generation of its Web-based CRM portal, Onyx Employee Portal (OEP) 2.5.

New marketing features support campaign management that enables organizations to develop and deploy multi-step marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Campaigns can target groups or individuals and leverage multiple media, including the Web, video-based e-mail, direct mail and outbound phone calls. Organizations can measure, monitor and track the response rate, revenues and return on investment of their campaign directly from their thin-client portal interface.

New sales features enable users to access their secure customer lists from anywhere in the world. The thin-client architecture allows them to use their browser to perform Web-based quoting, including full support for multiple currencies as well as Onyx's pricing engine.

The Onyx Employee Portal ships with integrated, contextual Internet content that gives marketing, sales and service users instant access to corporate profiles, market research, coaching, stock quotes, company news and other personalized information on a daily basis. OEP 2.5 also incorporates third-party applications needed by front-office employees on a daily basis, including productivity tools, Web collaboration, complex product configuration, knowledgebases, expense reporting and more.
