Addressing the volume of information in user e-mails and the need to act upon it quickly and easily, Hyperwave has released Connect for Microsoft Outlook. The new offering makes the central interface MS Outlook, and the central data structure is provided by the Hyperwave IS/6 with its KM processes.

Hyperwave reports features and functions include:

  • copying and pasting e-mails to Hyperwave;

  • automatic synchronization of Outlook folders or folder structures;

  • browsing and searching similar to Windows Explorer within the Hyperwave system;

  • ability to create attachments through browsing or searching;

  • synchronizing e-mails, contacts, tasks and calendar entries;

  • processing of all types of e-mail;

  • text, HTML and RTF inclusive of embedded objects;

  • adaptation of any language via unicode resource files;

  • integration of the Hyperwave document spooler; and

  • automatic transfer of Office attributes into Hyperwave.
