Oh, my
LexisNexis has launched My Lexis, which is described as an easy-to-customize start page for small law firms, corporate counsel, tax professionals and federal agencies. The new page, a tab on the lexis.com site, allows users to search multiple sources at once and customize the page with research components.
The new features of My Lexis include:
Quick Search. Users can search multiple legal, analytical and news sources simultaneously.
Summarized results set. After searching multiple sources, the results are displayed in a tabbed results set that shows the number of results by source type.
Custom drag-and-drop search components. Users have a variety of options depending on markets served.
My Lexis enables users to create a custom research section, with the ability to add, remove and rearrange a selection of LexisNexis research components, including:
- company dossier--basic and in-depth business information on more than 35 million global companies,
- forms by area of law--quickly pull up forms from hundreds of Matthew Bender treatises, and
- Get & Print--retrieve and deliver multiple Shepard's Citations Service reports or full-text documents directly to a printer or browser.
