Nuxeo enhances content services platform

Nuxeo, a cloud-native content services platform, has announced the release of LTS 2019. With enhancements in areas such as AI, integration with leading productivity and creative applications, and extended content connectivity options, LTS 2019 extends Nuxeo’s focus on helping enterprises transform their businesses with content and data.

Key updates and enhancements featured in LTS 2019 include a streamlined pipeline to make building and training AI models more accessible. Nuxeo customers can employ custom data models as well as train third-party AI engines (Google Vision, Amazon Rekognition, or Amazon Comprehend) on their own datasets to deliver real business insights, even on business-specific content.

The Nuxeo Platform can also now manage binary content “in place” (i.e., content stored in external ECM or EFSS systems). In addition to extending Nuxeo’s content federation strategy, this enables customers to gain the benefits of a modern content services platform without migrations.

In addition, the release offers Nuxeo users advanced metadata management capabilities, deep AI functionality, powerful search, permissions management, and more, all while transparently editing files from within the Office 365 suite.

LTS 2019 includes enhanced capabilities for annotations, a new Adobe Creative Cloud connector updated to improve the user experience and leverage the full capabilities of Adobe CC 2018, and other features.
