Nominations open for 1999 Process Innovation Awards

Kinetic Information is now accepting nominations for the third annual Process Innovation Awards, given to technology applications that most successfully achieve business objectives.

The PIA awards, handed out each spring, consist of two categories:

• Vertical Market Solution Awards, presented to one winner in each of the following vertical markets: education, financial services, government, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, utilities, and transportation;
• A Vision Award, presented to the single IT initiative among all the nominees which has the greatest potential to transform a business or social process.

The awards will be judged by a panel of independent professional consultants who are recognized authorities in their respective fields. The applications must have been installed on or after January 1, 1996 and in full use by September 1, 1998 (pilot systems do not qualify), and must demonstrate improvement in one of the following areas: productivity, profit, market position, or competitive standing.
