Newbold new Open Text president

Open Text (Waterloo, Ontario, http://www.opentext.com

) has appointed Brett Newbold as their new president. Prior to Newbold's new assignment, he was VP of the Con Text Division. Newbold attended the University of Washington and graduated with a B.S. in Physics in 1979. From college, he went on to become the European managing director of Automated Language Processing Systems. He founded Lexpertise Linguistic Software in 1986. Newbold went to Oracle in 1990 and developed Con Text.
