New software teaches how to protect IP assets

A training and compliance too to protect intellectual property is being offered by Corpedia.com, a subsidiary of Corpedia Training Technologies.

"An Employee's Guide to Protecting Intellectual Property and Trade Secrets" explains several ways that intellectual property is lost and how employees can help employers by protecting secrets from outsiders, visitors and hackers. The program also educates users about what constitutes a trade secret and how federal law and the principle of "inevitable disclosure" limit what an employee can take with them when they leave a job.

The Internet-linked CD-ROM software program is $40 per user, with volume and group discounts available
