New pricing option from Reprints Desk

Reprints Desk has launched Reprints GPO, a new group purchasing software service designed for deployment by procurement and finance professionals at healthcare organizations.

The company explains that Reprints GPO consolidates fragmented article reprint buying by professionals in product marketing, symposia and meeting management—as well as medical affairs—to deliver a global spending view and to maximize purchasing power for savings on annual and per-order, bulk article reprint purchases.

Reprints GPO enables individual article reprint buyers within the same company to consolidate their purchases with other buyers with the same product affiliation, despite any geographic separation. Reprints Desk assists customers to include a larger group of buyers in the quoting process, thereby increasing the aggregate order quantity and significantly reducing the cost per order.

Reprints Desk has integrated Reprints GPO with its Reprints NRx service to make it easier for healthcare and healthcare communications companies to purchase scientific journal content to increase prescriptions and product sales. With Reprints NRx, buyers from multiple departments can easily use reprints and e-prints of peer-reviewed articles from scientific and medical publications in promotions and educational programs across online, offline and mobile channels.
