New content applications

Interwoven has announced three new applications targeting enterprise portals, collaborative document management and Web application management for the global enterprise. The company explains that TeamDoc, TeamPortal and TeamCode are built on its enterprise content management platform that includes TeamSite Content Management, MetaTagger Content Intelligence and OpenDeploy Content Distribution.

The company says the combination of the Interwoven 5 platform and the new content applications enables customers to reduce implementation time. Further, it claims, Interwoven 5 is the industry's first Web services-enabled ECM platform.

TeamDoc is said to streamline document sharing, publishing and management, enabling business users to find, create, categorize and Q&A documents in a collaborative environment.

TeamPortal delivers content management services to the corporate portal via XML & SOAP, says Interwoven, allowing portal users to create, manage, Q&A and deploy content directly from their portal interface.

TeamCode reportedly provides developers the means to manage, test and deploy Web application code in TeamSite's collaborative development environment.
