New Captiva software simplifies healthcare form processing

A new package designed to simplify the processing of healthcare form information has been released by Captiva Software.

ClaimPack -- an add-on module to Captiva's FormWare software package -- analyzes, corrects and exports data from HCFA 1500 and UB92 forms into workflow, document management and database systems, reducing costs associated with data entry. ClaimPack reads all seventy versions of HCFA 1500 forms with a 99.5% accuracy, exporting data to NSF, UB92 V5.0 and other standard formats.

ClaimPack is geared towards Captiva's customers who collectively process 10 million medical claims forms per day, according to Captiva CEO Reynolds Bish.

ClaimPack, an add-on component to FormWare Version 2.0 or higher, runs on Windows 95,98 or NT. Pricing is $30,000 per production site
