NStor Unveils ERP Data Collection System

NStor's (Lake Mary, FL) Integrated Systems Division has unveiled Collect 2000, a barcode data collection system for integrating mid-level ERP software packages. Features include direct and indirect labor reporting, purchase order receipts, inventory moves and adjustments, order picking and receiving, and cycle counting and physical inventory. The system connects radio frequency and barcode readers into the ERP host database, providing flexibility in collecting labor and inventory tracking transactions from the shop floor, warehouse, and shipping and receiving areas. It can integrate into any ERP system supporting object database connectivity, and already works with ERP packages from ROI Systems

, Fourth Shift, and Interactive. Benefits include reduced inventory and data entry requirements, and increased sales due to improved shipping schedules. Most users can expect a ROI within six months, according to Doug Cook, NStor's manager of data collection systems.
