More BI for Plumtree

Theoris has inked a deal with Plumtree whereby it will bring new business intelligence capabilities to the well-known corporate portal. Theoris says its Vision BI Framework for Plumtree can be embedded into personalized and community pages as portlets, helping to enable executives and managers to build and track key performance indicators.

Theoris further says it offers the following benefits to Plumtree customers:

Access to information from data sources. Portal users can connect to audited management reports, business intelligence systems, enterprise applications, intranets, extranets and the Internet.

On-demand insight to information. Information from critical business areas can be grouped together on-demand from multiple data sources, delivering greater business insight and value to the decision maker in a contextually relevant manner.

Ease of use. Users and business analysts can build dashboards with an intuitive, wizard-driven process. Whenever there are changes – in organizational structure, priorities, or IT systems – users can modify dashboards themselves, with no programming required.
