Monitoring broadcasts

Critical Mention and Cymfony have announced an agreement whereby Critical Mention's Web-based broadcast monitoring solutions will be integrated into the Cymfony Dashboard, which offers measurement and market analytics and solutions.

The companies report the new service will deliver a custom-filtered XML feed of television transcripts directly into the Cymfony platform. Each individual transcript will include a link to view the corresponding video clip on Critical Mention's secure video platform. Cymfony, which also offers strategic consulting services, describes its Dashboard as a comprehensive marketing analysis solution that can simultaneously monitor local, regional and global coverage in real time; benchmark PR performance in user groups and forums; identify emerging trends and compare company brands against competitors; and provide qualitative and predictive analysis for marketers to guide communication strategies. Primary users of this offering include marketing, communications, branding, research and competitive intelligence professionals.
