EPiServer has released MobilePack for EPiServer, a set of templates and software for creating mobile Web applications, thereby allowing marketers to extend their online to smartphones and tablets. HTML5-based MobilePack allows marketers to use familiar analytic tools to understand visitor preferences before investing in more expensive native applications, says EPiServer. Highlighted features of MobilePack include device-specific preview, ability to add and preview new content specific to the mobile context and the capability for developers to customize richer mobile experiences. MobilePack is available immediately, and EPiServer will continuously build out more features and functionality in subsequent releases.
