Mitek signs license agreement with Input

In another sign of the renewed strength and consolidation of the imaging market,Mitek has signed a worldwide software distribution licensing agreement with Input Software . The agreement enables Input to incorporate Mitek's page identification technology into its capture solution, InputAccel.

This integration will create a solution that converts data in high volumes of mixed document types into content ready for e-business.

"Quality page identification represents the beginning of the process that helps turn hard copy documents into formats such as XML," said John Stetak, VP of marketing at Input. "This new product solution allows Global 1000 and dot.com companies alike to leave their paper documents at the enterprise front door, and engage in business-to-business and business-to-consumer commerce in a paperless environment."

Mitek's technology reduces the time required for system set-up offering InputAccel users the ability to identify hundreds of document types — from structured forms, such as applications and claims, to semi-structured and unstructured documents, such as invoices, resumes and correspondence. William Boersing, Mitek's VP of North American sales, called the partnership a strategic step in extending Mitek’s product offering to high-volume processing environments.
