Minolta Announces Reorganization of Business Products Group

Responding to "today's rapidly changing business products environment," Minolta (Ramsey, NJ) has reorganized its Business Products Group. All North American sales and marketing activities under Minolta's Office Products and Business Systems Division now report to Bud Murphy, the senior VP and GM of the newly-formed Office Systems Sales/Marketing Division. Products included in this division include color and black-and-white copiers, color printers, faxes, micrographic and hybrid document imaging systems and electronic publication systems. Further reorganization has resulted in the formation of an Office Systems Product and Technical Support Division, headed by senior VP and GM Tad Yokota, and an Operations and Administration Division, headed by VP and GM Joe Lupino. The reorganization allows Minolta "to better serve the needs of our customers and dealer network," according to executive VP Kirk Goto.
