Optimized for partners and integrators, MindServer 3.0 from Recommind includes a streamlined GUI-based administration tool that simplifies configuration, while still allowing the maximum flexibility and control for administrative users.

MindServer 3.0 includes pre-built connectors for easy integration with a range of portals, document and content management systems, databases and other text sources. Recommind reports it also includes pre-built user interfaces for different applications such as enterprise search and advanced research. Those user interfaces can be quickly and easily customized using XSLT style sheets.

Recommind explains that MindServer 3.0 capabilities include:

• automated generation of concept models to improve relevancy without the need for manually created rules or training sets;

• search on any information regardless of location, format, file type or language;

• categorization and taxonomy management that can be run in fully or semi-automated mode; and

• entity recognition to identify such things as person names and places that MindServer has not seen before;

MindServer 3.0 enhancements include:

• enhanced GUI-based administrative tools for optimizing configuration and influencing relevancy ranking;

• scalability to 100 million documents;

• support for multiple versions of source documents;

• improved security, supporting single sign-on and JAAS framework; and

• the ability to highlight search terms in most relevant passages of search result documents.
