MediaLogic and Torque Systems Sign Deal

Storage manufacturer MediaLogic (Plainville, MA) has signed an OEM agreement to combine its AIT and DLT tape library systems with

Torque Systems' (San Francisco) Torque Backup data backup and archiving software and image database server systems. The combined solution will offer backup, archiving and restoration of large-scale image files. The key benefit of the combination with MediaLogic's systems is scalability, according to Torque Systems CEO Sam Bogoch: "You can start with a single drive and add drives to scale up to multi-terabyte capacities."
