MedPlus and IPN Scrub Up for Healthcare Records

MedPlus (Cincinnati) and IPN Network (Nashville, TN) have joined to offer electronic patient records systems to healthcare providers. IPN will make the ChartMaxx patient records system available to its clients, and will utilize the process engineering services of MedPlus subsidiary Futurecore. MedPlus will promote to its clients IPN's outsourcing services, which include hospital registration and admitting, billing, managed care contracts administration and collections. "This experience and integrated approach to patient accounts management make IPN's service offerings the perfect complement to MedPlus' technology and services," said Gary Price, MedPlus' senior VP of business development. "MedPlus shares our objectives of improving processes, integrating systems and support, and applying the highest quality industry standards to ensure success," said Terry Armstrong, IPN's COO.
