McCracken Software, Optika Form Alliance

Optika (www.optika.com)) announced an extranet software solution for customers in the financial services sector. The vertical solution is built upon Optika eMedia--Optika's new Web-based application--and is designed to provide financial institutions the ability to manage business transactions in both paper and electronic formats. Optika eMedia Financial also includes a specialized services module and workflow templates developed to facilitate and streamline various types of financial transactions.
An initial adopter of Optika eMedia Financial is multi-bank holding company ARVEST Bank Group (ABG, Bentonville, AR) (www.arvest.com).
According to Jon Pascoe, ABG's imaging manager, ABG is deploying document and image management, COLD and customized workflow systems in its corebanking, investment and mortgage lending areas to improve customer service levels, increase the efficiency of backoffice operations and meetrecordkeeping requirements of its regulators in a cost-effective manner.
The EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) technology, when deployed, is expected to automate various business processes and provide ABG associates immediate access to centrally located repositories of corporate and customer information.
