MatrixOne and Gedas forge alliance
MatrixOne and Gedas have inked a deal geared toward providing e-business solutions and services for product life cycle management.
The companies say the alliance will enable global companies to accelerate product introduction through a solution that combines virtual product development with systems integrations to existing enterprise resources.
Through tools and services, Gedas says it allows companies to begin or extend collaboration across their global value chains. The company offers integration interfaces to ERP products and virtual product development solutions, as well as expertise in implementation of MatrixOne's eMatrix business collaboration backbone and Value Chain Portfolio.
The companies will target a number of vertical markets, including automotive, mechanical engineering and manufacturing, electronics, chemicals and telecommunication.
