Marrying content and collaboration

Corechange’s new portal framework, Coreport 5.0, is designed to unify information, applications and communications across complex enterprise environments. The company emphasizes this new version offers tightly integrated content management and collaboration capabilities within a portal framework.

Corechange has also introduced CoreRespond, a business communications and collaboration tool the company says gives organizations the ability to control interactive business messaging--a process Corechange calls "dialogue management."

Other Corechange features include:

  • integration with Microsoft’s SharePoint Portal Server;

  • integration with Stellent’s (formerly Intranet Solutions) content management system;

  • dynamic load balancing, giving Coreport the ability to operate in a Web farm server configuration;

  • direct, native support for Microsoft Web Parts;

  • Web-based administration; and

  • the ability to deliver portal resources and content via pocket PCs, as well as i-mode mobile devices.
