Mapping knowledge

Correlate has released Version 3.0 of its namesake software for Lotus’ Domino.Doc and K-Station. In the Domino.Doc environment, Correlate 3.0 allows users to relate documents together to quickly and easily build dynamic Web-based business solutions on top of Domino.Doc. DuPont with 70,000 Domino.Doc users, has signed on as a Correlate design partner and is using 3.0 to build business solutions for IT processes and pharmaceutical research.

Correlate’s XML-based open environment enables organizations to quickly develop dynamic business solutions such as project management, RFP/RFIs templates, marketing plans, IT processes, research, policies and procedures, etc. Version 3.0 is a completely integrated product within Domino.Doc, which means that the Correlate KnowledgeMap, which may hold multiple documents, supports all key document management features including check-in/check-out, versioning, audit trails and more.

Correlate 3.0 also enables organizations to relate information from different knowledge sources to quickly and easily build dynamic Web-based business solutions within their K-Station desktop. The user can either drag information items from any of the K-Station Portlets into a Correlate KnowledgeMap, or it can be done automatically using the AutoCorrelate function.

This announcement is the first of several more upcoming Correlate 3.0 integrations.
