Managing the flood of CRM data

With the introduction of WebHouse to its Orchestrate platform, Torrent Systems blends online and offline data in a CRM solution. WebHouse enables companies, Torrent says, to analyze complete customer profiles and deliver content and marketing campaigns to individual customers through all facets of the business, including the Web, call centers and direct mail. Torrent adds that Orchestrate allows companies to build, deploy and manage large custom applications that predict customer behavior.

WebHouse and Orchestrate have open architectures that automate data loads into multiple database formats, including Oracle, IBM DB2 UDB, Informix and NCR. WebHouse also performs all transformations necessary to fuel advanced analytical applications, such as SAS.

Key features of Torrent's WebHouse include:

  • Scalable clickstream and brick-and-mortar data integration and processing;

  • customizable sessionization and cleansing to support analytics processing; and

  • an open architecture that eases data loads into RDBMS and other analytic software formats.

WebHouse and is compatible with Compaq, HP, IBM, Intel, NCR and Sun Microsystems data warehousing solutions.
