Managing human capital

Softscape has released the latest version of it Web-based human capital management (HCM) suite, AchievementPlus, which the company calls an out-of-the-box HCM offering for fully integrated performance management, succession planning, compensation, 360° feedback and recruiting with new features such as employee self service (ESS) benefits management, incident tracking and enhanced e-learning.

The company says its new Web-based ESS benefit management module provides managers and employees with a secure single location to privately access company-specific information relevant to benefits, payroll, vacation time, flex spending, employee directories, internal documents and 401(k) selection. The module is said to enable HR managers to save time with single database entries, reduced errors and improved communications with insurance carriers, including the ability to connect to carriers to facilitate fast and concise census reporting and open enrollment.

Softscape goes on to say that the module seamlessly processes payroll changes online and automatically processes benefit deductions, new hires, terminations and employee information. Softscape has also developed Incident Tracking that assists HR departments in processing legal incidents and notifications.

The e-learning module, which manages all aspects of employee education, is now also capable of integrating with personalized development plans. The module includes online courses, student registration, site administration, curriculum management, course management, class scheduling, instructional administration (wait lists, attendance, grading, scoring, notifications), evaluations and transcripts.
