Logility Releases New Warehouse Management Modules

Logility (Atlanta) is planning to roll out three new modules for its warehouse management system. The modules were recently previewed at Logility's User conference. The Supply Planning module will offer technology to help companies decide what suppliers, manufacturers or distribution facilities are best for fulfilling customer orders given real world constraints, preferences and costs. The Manufacturing Planning and Scheduling module will optimize an organization's schedule across multiple production facilities and within each production facility. The 'Profitable-to-Promise' (PTP) module will allow companies to compare the profit from an actual order to the profit associated with a forecasted order. All three modules will use Microsoft

-centric, message-based, distributed common object model (DCOM) architecture.
