Livelink for SAP

Open Text has announced certification and availability of Livelink Archive for SAP R/3.

Open Text reports Livelink for SAP R/3 uses SAP's ArchiveLink communication interface to allow customers to:

• archive SAP R/3 images and business documents in Livelink and retrieve them from SAP/R3;

• copy desktop files to the Livelink repository and link them to an R/3 business object or transaction using the SAP R/3 office applications, enabling SAP users to access required information at the appropriate points in their daily business operations;

• store incoming documents, such as fax and scanned images, in Livelink and view them from a SAP R/3 business process, as well as store outgoing documents in Livelink and hyperlink fields to other archived documents and an index page; NS

• create secure access to SAP R/3 documents archived in Livelink, ensuring viewing and use by authorized users only.
  Open Text also offers a toolkit that allows developers to write custom integrations between Livelink and SAP R/3 and support for XML data interchange with SAP R/3.
