A new toolkit with nearly 300 functions for color and document imaging has been released by Lead Technologies (Charlotte, NC, www.leadtools.com). With

LeadTools Version 8.0, many imaging categories are available covering scanning, color conversion, display, annotation, Internet imaging, database imaging and more. The new release adds paint effects and multimedia special effects, enhanced TIFF support and more image processing features. The top of the line in Lead Technology's family of image kits, LeadTools Pro Express, is priced at $1,995.
