Lanvision and SMS sew up reselling agreement

Shared Medical Systems (SMS, Malvern, PA) will now resell Lanvision

's (Cincinnati) line of document imaging and workflow-based products, per a new agreement. Lanvision's ChartVision, Online Chart Completion and Enterprisewide Correspondence will be used as an integrated electronic medical record solution, complementing SMS' Novius Imaging client/server application. The combined offering will provide immediate and simultaneous access to electronic charts for physicians, clinicians and healthcare information management professionals. With this deal, healthcare organizations can have "reliable and instantaneous access to health information wherever they're located," according to Alan Gold, SMS VP of new venture initiatives.
