LanVision launches web-based information access division

A new division offering web-based information access for healthcare providers has been launched by LanVision (Cincinnati, OH,

http://www.lanvision.com). The Virtual Healthware Services (VHS) division will offer transaction-based document imaging, workflow, and information management services to healthcare providers, and is one of the first web-based services of its kind. Already signed on board is the Detroit Medical Center, the largest non-governmental employer in Detroit, which will save an estimated $1.5 million annually, according to DMC CFO Guy LaPrad. "VHS is an unprecedented step forward for LanVision as well as the entire healthcare community," says LanVision president and CEO Brian Patsy.
