Knowledge Management Software integrates Weblogic

In a recently announced partnership, Knowledge Management Software (KMS) will integrate BEA Systems’ e-business infrastructure software into its Deskartes Universal Knowledge offering.

The inclusion of WebLogic as part of the Deskartes architecture means that Deskartes can be deployed easily from a small-scale environment to a corporate and e-commerce-based scale.

The companies explain that the WebLogic platforms offers a complete suite of software solutions that increases the speed of time to market for businesses and enables them to sustain 24x7 transactions. KMS says BEA customers will benefit from the nine years of research behind Deskartes Universal Knowledge, which, it explains, facilitates the discovery and collaboration of knowledge across the organiaztion, creating a knowledge-sharing culture and enabling customers to reduce cost, improve productivity and their ability to provide innovation and service.
