Keeping workflow afloat

Buoy5 has released Version 2.9 of iApprove, which is said to include new features that allow for conditional and ad hoc routing in processes. Further, says the company, it soon plans to support the Microsoft .Net Web services framework through .Net applications and services that use iApprove to centralize their workflow operations and improve efficiencies.

Buoy5 reports it targets mid-market companies and departments within large enterprise organizations with iApprove, providing a Web-based platform to centralize and automate internal request and approval processes. As a completely Web-based system, Buoy5 claims, iApprove is easy to deploy, customize, manage and requires no programming or third-party consulting.

As part of the planned .Net support, says Buoy5, the new version of iApprove will feature a standard .Net Web Services XML/SOAP module that will enable .NET applications and services to use iApprove functionality to automate tasks such as creating requests or querying the system to get the details of a request.
