Keeping an eye on CDI

Experian has introduced a system designed to connect customer information from disparate databases across an organization. The Truvue customer data integration (CDI) tool is said to offer companies personalized, knowledgeable customer service based upon a complete picture of their total customer relationship.

Experian is best know for issuing credit reports and brings 25 years of data management experience to the Truvue system. Experian adds that along with its integration capabilities, the software enables the enhancement of internal data with real-time demographics.

A recent Merrill Lynch study reports that the CDI segment of the CRM market in the United States is expected to grow to more than $16.8 billion by 2005 from $4.8 billion in 2000, Experian claims.
