Kapow adds analytics and simulation to new version

Kapow, a Kofax company, has released Version 9.5 of the company’s information integration and automation platform. Kapow 9.5 now includes analytics capabilities that deliver out-of-the-box dashboards to provide insight into information, processes and performance. Kapow says users can monitor and analyze information being processed, process workflows and system performance. Kapow 9.5 also now offers simulation capabilities that allow developers to test projects in real time prior to their deployment in a production environment.

The company says other Kapow 9.5 enhancements include:

• accelerated robot design and testing—a new design time mode for building and testing integration robots gives designers better control over each step in the process, limiting the number of iterations required and enabling the editing of individual steps without re-execution;
• project synchronization and management—designers can upload, download and synchronize projects between the Kapow Design Studio and management console, move projects between test and production environments and share projects among small development teams; and
• expanded graphics support—with scalable vector graphics (SVG) rendered in the browser view, robots can interact with active graphical elements and extract an image snapshot of the SVG elements.
