Ixos and IMR sign OEM agreement

Per a new agreement, Information Management Research (IMR, Englewood, CO) will integrate

Ixos' (San Mateo, CA) Jukeman CD jukebox management software with its Alchemy warehousing software. The combination creates a formidable NT-based solution that offers document and data indexing and retrieval with network-based CD jukebox storage management. The deal gives users of both products a greatly expanded choice of CD and DVD jukebox storage devices. "IMR's Alchemy software has long been recognized as the #1 choice for companies using recordable CD-ROM for their information storage and retrieval solution," commented Lynn Hogg, Ixos' Director of Sales and Marketing. The combination, he says, will "make it easy to create, maintain and access low-cost, distributed information" for intranets, document management, data warehousing, and data distribution." IMR president Robert Drucker adds that the companies' resellers will benefit, by being able to provide "the first true CD warehousing application for managing the storage and access of hundreds of gigabytes of diverse data types."
