Recommind says the product combines patented search and categorization technologies to deliver an accurate and automated enterprise search solution from any source or location within or outside the firm. The company claims MindServer Legal finds relevant documents even if the search term is not mentioned in the body of a document, ranks results by relevance, highlights search terms to reveal the most useful portion of a document, and automatically groups results into categories such as author, client matter, office or practice area.

MindServer Legal supports more than 100 document formats and more than 30 languages and reportedly integrates easily with existing document management systems, intranets and databases. Further, says Recommind, it enables fast access to the most recent version of a document as well as to documents stored remotely.
