Introducing the fifth dimension

With Version 5 of its collaboration management system software, Intraspect offers enterprise interoperability and scalability through its use of J2EE technologies and provides both Oracle and SQL database editions. Further, Intraspect claims, Version 5 delivers performance improvements up to 10 times faster than its predecessor.

Intraspect 5 enhancements to the collaborative platform include:

• enterprise integration with Oracle, SQL and J2EE;

• enterprise directory integration;

• “collaboration in context” with portals and line of business applications such as customer relationship management and product lifecycle management

• integrated workflow with business applications;
  Data integration with business applications; and
  • enhanced wireless support.

    The company has also introduced Intraspect Applications 2 for the extended enterprise.
