Intrasect Unveils docSpace Direct for Extranet Files

Intrasect (Toronto) has unveiled a new method for sending files over the Internet. DocSpace Direct product is an electronic file delivery system designed specifically for sending files securely across an organization's extranet. Files are automatically encrypted and uploaded into the docSpace server; recipients access the stored file and transaction reports by securely logging into docSpace. The entire process is used via a Web browser. Targeted market segments include finance, law, accounting, printing, graphics, and advertising. DocSpace addresses the online nature of today's expanded enterprises, according to Intrasect president and CEO Evan Chrapko. DocSpace "also saves time and money for the ultimate corporate customer in any industry requiring simple, secure file transmission or access to an online hard drive," he added. Free 30-day evaluations of docSpace will be available beginning March 15.
