Interwoven rolls out TeamSite for Office

Offering the ability to generate content without leaving Microsoft Office, Interwoven TeamSite Front Office allows users who may be untrained in an organization’ content management system to contribute in familiar environment. In addition to the easy interface, Front Office is integrated with Interwoven MetaTagger, so all content is classified and can be automatically tagged so it can be searched and repurposed within the enterprise. Plus, all authors’ content contribution is automatically written in XML without their requiring knowledge of XML.

New features in 5.0 include

• document publishing of MS Word and Office documents with a single click to corporate intranets and portals;

• enhanced workflow integration to enable document review and approval on MS Word and document expiration; and

• reusable data to multiple e-business applications.
