Interwoven releases MediaBin Asset Server 3.0
Interwoven has released its MediaBin Asset Server 3.0 software, said to be the first integrated digital brand management solution incorporating a Web services-oriented architecture, facilitating faster time-to-market and brand consistency for global enterprises. Interwoven acquired MediaBin in late June.
Fully integrated with Interwoven 6, MediaBin Asset Server 3.0 software includes a new Web services-enabled connector for the Team Site content server software that automatically ensures that published renditions of digital assets are always properly formatted and up to date across all Internet-based applications, says the company.
Interwoven claims the benefits of the MediaBin Asset Server 3.0 include:
Speed-to-market--Enhanced XML Web services enable rapid integration with line-of-business applications, reducing the time it takes to launch products and supporting marketing and sales campaigns.
Increased productivity--Improved personalization of the user interface provides enhanced search and layout preferences, maximizing user adoption and increasing productivity.
Brand consistency--A new TeamSite-MediaBin Connector gives TeamSite users access to digital assets managed within MediaBin servers, including those maintained by business partners via the Internet.
